Dreamed up as a seamless introduction to the modern bride in a light and intimate setting, this workshop photoshoot from photographer, Inga Avedan and creative director, Kado by Kyoko is the embodiment of a chic, effortless style that will always remains trendy!
From Inga Avedan: When putting this workshop together I knew that I want to bring a fresh vision into a bridal world. My creative partner Kyoko and I, decided to blend together a world of fashion and bridal, but at the same time keep it minimalist and tasteful.
We’ve built the concept around the idea of effortless beauty. We wanted to have an organic transition between fashion and bridal by taking into consideration every aspect of it: makeup, dresses, model, poses, light and setups.
By hosting this workshop I hope to evoke a desire and hunger for creative storytelling through photography or any art form really.
We’re so stunned with this intense, moody photoshoot – even more so on learning the stormy conditions the creatives behind it had to endure to pull it off. Query Events led the ethereal vision, while also delivering perfectly lush, organic florals to set the tone. Tracy Enoch Photography documented every detail with these amazing images, leading us to fall in love with the idea of eloping come rain or shine!
From Query Events: How amazing this trip to the coast of Oregon was for our Dallas vendor team! February was right in the midst of the West coast’s rainy season and a moody day was expected. However, with the average high in the 60’s in February a snowstorm and lows of 30 degrees was not predicted! Our stormy day, elopement session was met with a team with wonderful sense of adventure as we faced the ocean, rain and whipping winds head on! This amazing caped Elizabeth Dye gown was the perfect addition to the concept providing a visual representation to the elements our couple was eloping in. Although we had limited time and was forced to design around the elements, what an amazing experience with stunning images to show for it!
For the latest bridal and accessories collection from SIBO Designs, designer Sheila Bobeldijk created a series of soft, feminine pieces, then captured them in lovely detail, in an intimate studio session. With an emphasis on classic beauty and understated elegance, it is easy to see the line’s instant appeal, tailored to suit a wide range of tastes and so perfect for brides who want incorporate unique, handcrafted pieces for their walk down the aisle.
From designer, Sheila Bobeldijk: The new 2018 collection is called “Initium Novum” which in Latin means “new beginning”. New beginnings can be very important in our lives, as is the start of a marriage. To me every collection I create feels like a new beginning, a new way to look at your designs, and a new way you are able to express yourself. It is also a way to inspire people around you, and to show them that it is very important to chase your dreams, and work hard to find a way to make them a reality. This collection symbolizes the more traditional style of a wedding.
The gowns and veils are made with rich laces and soft tulles. The headpieces are all painted by hand, wired and adorned to create their unique shapes. Even though the headpieces, veils and gowns are designed with tradition in mind, they work in every bridal style, whether you are more of a bohemian free spirited type bride, or a more traditional glamorous bride, each design bring it’s own little unique elegance to the bride’s style. The “Initium Novum” collection is made to inspire and be a classic heirloom for generations to come.
